Arbitrary Quantum Coin Magic - 2003 - A short video intended as a gallery exhibition loop. The coins spinning are in fact the same coin. Splitting the fields of the video yields two completely different views laid against each other as if a reflection, on the right is heads on the left tails, so the coin can signify two different states at once, that of heads or tails. This is further confused by the coin itself being a forgery.

A White Lie (2001) 3 mins 20. My graduation film from art college in Dublin. It is loosely based on a robbery I witnessed, I asked fm104 for sound from a radio phone in show about drug addicts. For some reason I obscured most of it. At the time it was when people were really starting to throw money round Dublin and the girl that was robbed could barely carry all the shopping that she had with her, I thought the junky was hardwired to prey on such a lame doe. The soundtrack revealed a much more interesting story, I'm not sure if I developed it properly but the film was shown in a lot of festivals.
Army of A's 2001
Nosoma (2000) 3mins 20 my first college film. I actually failed my second year of college making this film. I failed because I didn't do my 'whip' animation test (I did do it quickly but binned it afterwards so couldn't show it) and had to redo it over the summer to pass. The irony is that the next summer I won best animation at Kerry Film Festival for this film which almost got me thrown out of art school for making. I became very cynical towards 3rd level education after that episode. This film is about common sense, over consumption and Scottish Terriers.
